Kobby, Alvida, Arlong… six new actors confirmed for One Piece
Sanji’s actor for One Piece.
Still scheduled at an unknown date, the series one piece live action is currently being produced by Netflix. Witness the gigantic constructions of the flagship boats of the saga as the Vogue Merry and the RedForce. Another proof of the progression of the series, the new cast members who were announced last night by the Twitter page netflix geeked. In total, six new actors are joining the shoot: Morgan Davies (The Evil Dead) for Koby, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino (The Sex Lives of College Girls) for Alvida, Aidan Scott (Action Point) for Hermep, Jeff Ward (hacks) for Buggy the Clown, McKinley Belcher III (Ozark) for Arlong and Vincent Regan (troy) for Garp. All these actors therefore join Inaki Godoy (Luffy), Mackenyu (Zorro), Jacob Gibson (Pipo), Emily Rudd (Nami) and Taz Skylar (Sandy / Sanji).

And this casting announcement raises questions about the cover of the manga produced by this live action adaptation. If it were likely to go to Arlong Park (volume 11), it should cover a bit more manga since the character of Garp must appear there. However, it only appears for the first time in chapter 92: it is a little after the narrative arc of Arlong Park. However, it is still impossible to determine whether the events of logetown will be told by the series since certain characters (Tashigi or Smoker to name but a few) who have become flagships do not yet have an assigned actor.
No doubt they will probably make their appearance in a possible season 2 of the series, has not been formalized at all or guaranteed that it will see the light of day: Cowboy Bebop, animated flagship of the 90s directed by Watanabe, has not not had much success last year during its adaptation in live-action series… As a reminder, the One Piece series does not yet have an official date and will be available on Netflix when it launches.
