One Piece Odyssey reveals itself little by little
For several months, the video game One Piece Odyssey talk a lot. The new project from the Bandai Namco studio is eagerly awaited by fans.
Announced on March 28 during the celebrations of the 25th anniversary of One Piece, the game has since unfolded somewhat. Last April, the first pictures of One Piece Odyssey have been revealed.
On these first screenshots of the RPG, fans could therefore see Luffy and his gang. But also sea and land monsters. Mouth watering!
Last July, Bandai Namco therefore decided to pass the second. In effect, the studio detailed the gameplay of One Piece Odyssey.
Thus, it is a turn-based RPG. Luffy and his crew find themselves separated on Waford Island. They will therefore have to meet again to discover all the mysteries of the place and escape.
Players can then form teams of four to take part in heated turn-based battles. Great !

Promising gameplay
The wait seems to be shrinking for fans. Indeed, the release of the video game One Piece Odyssey is fast approaching. The RPG will be released on January 13, 2023.
So, in the meantime, Bandai Namco is doing everything to make players want to buy the game. Hence the release of a brand new seven-minute gameplay.
In this video, everything begins in the city of Nanohana, in the kingdom of Alabasta. The game therefore reveals emblematic places of the anime, while adding a new island: Waford.
In One Piece Odyssey, it will be possible to interact with NPCs, take part in side missions or explore the open world.
Moreover, players will be able to switch freely between crew members. Which is very useful for exploration. In effect, each character has specific abilities.
Thus, Chopper is perfect for sneaking into small spaces. Usopp proves valuable for shots. As for Luffy, he is essential for reaching high places.
The fights of One Piece Odyssey are also revealed in this gameplay. They will indeed be turn-based. Thus, there will be the use of attacks, objects or skills.
Moreover, the latter are multiple. Some characters will be able to heal allies, attack several enemies at the same time, or cause status changes.
