A new adventure of the Straw Hats is coming in the form of videogame. bandai namco One Piece Odyssey is about to be released, an role-playing game with Luffy and his fleet reliving the most famous arcs of the anime, as well as a completely new story. When is One Piece Odyssey coming out and how much will it cost? Here we tell you.
One Piece, one of the most famous (and longest) manga and anime sagas of the shonen genre returns with a new role-playing video game to commemorate its 25th anniversary: One Piece Odyssey. The title raises its release for January 2023, being one of the most anticipated to start the year. Odyssey will be available for PC, PS4, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

One Piece Odyssey release date
One Piece Odyssey has a release date on next january 13 from 2023 to PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC (via Steam). On PC you can play from the 12th of January.
The Bandai Namco title will arrive early next year.

What is One Piece Odyssey about?
In this adventure, the Straw Hat fleet is stranded on a mysterious island called Waford, where monsters and only two humans live: Lim and Adio (new characters). Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Chopper, Robin, Franky and Brook, all playable characters, must defeat enemies and get a series of cubes from Lim, who has taken away his powers because he distrusts pirates.
In addition, Luffy and his companions will have to relive past experiences, as supernatural events make them enter their memories and meet up with old friends, like Vivi. Players will be able to enjoy a dose of nostalgia as they will recognize the recreation of two much-loved arcs from the manga and anime: Alabasta and Water Seven.

Eiichiro Oda himself, creator of One Piece, has participated in the design of the characters and the story of Odyssey. Additionally, Motoi Sakuraba is in charge of the soundtrack, who is known for his music for Dark Souls and the Tales of series. It should be said, then, that expectations are high for One Piece Odyssey, a JRPG with years of development.
