Publisher Bandai Namco has just confirmed that the Water Seven arc from One Piece will be a memory that the Straw Hat Pirates will relive in One Piece Odyssey.
At the time of this writing, there is no trailer or specific information on the unfolding of the latter. However, since a trailer showing the gameplay and scenes of Alabasta has been released, it is possible that a trailer for the Water Seven arc will be released soon.
In One Piece Odyssey, the Straw Hat Pirates will have to live through past events. However, since they are stronger and already know what is to come, the game version will be new to current fans of the series and manga. For example, even though Robin was not part of the crew during the Alabasta arc, she is their ally in the game.
Water Seven is the fifteenth story arc of the series. It was then that Franky joined the crew as a carpenter. For Robin-related reasons, Water Seven leads directly into the Enies Lobby arc. It is not yet known if the game will cover the events of the latter or if it will be specifically centered on that of Water Seven.

One Piece Odyssey will be released on January 13, 2023 on PS4 and PS5, Xbox One and Series and PC via Steam.
