There will be spoilers.
One Piece: Red is the next film in the Eiichiro Oda franchise, and the fact that its own author is involved has sparked interest in its importance and place within the official canon. Before continuing, it should be remembered that this article will have a small spoiler that has recently been revealed.as it turns out that this production could offer new information about the work itself.
According to the latest One Piece movie, the bounty for shanks capture was around $1,000,400,000 from bellies when he met Luffy in the East Bluewhen he was still a child. After all, when he met Uta, the captain was worth so much. If anything, his bounty may have been greater when Luffy began his journey as a pirate, so the Red Haired Pirates have been in the crosshairs of the world government for a long time.
Of course, Shanks has racked up even more bounties, as he’s worth nearly 4.1 billion bellies to the Marines.. Shanks has the highest active bounty of any character in the series, but it’s not the largest ever given. That title goes to Gol D. Roger, as he was wanted for over 5.5 billion bells. These days, Luffy is doing well on his own with a bounty of 3 billion bellies. And as part of the Four Emperors, One Piece fans can assume that the Straw Hat captain will only increase that number in the future.
It may be that, in fact, in the film that is about to be released, we will learn more about the past of our red-haired pirate. But, we will have to wait a little longer to find this out. In fact, it was recently confirmed that One Piece: Red will be released in Mexico and Latin America.
One Piece: Red will premiere in Mexico and Latin America
The official account of Toei Animation Latin America confirmed that One Piece Film Red will soon arrive in theaters in Mexico and Latin America.Although no further details have been given in this regard, we can expect it to have a treatment similar to that of other productions such as Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, which will be released almost simultaneously in the Americas.
The fifteenth film in the franchise was released on August 6, 2022 in theaters in Japan with quite respectable success. In fact, It has become one of the highest grossing films in the Asian country. Therefore, we can expect it to have a release soon enough in the region to maintain these gains.

One Piece fans are no strangers to bounties, and in recent months, the World Government has thrown even more money at their enemies. Characters like Luffy and Zoro are now sought after for outrageous rewards, but they aren’t the first to tout big rewards. During years, fans were sure Shanks beat them to it, and the latest movie confirms it.
In Japan, One Piece: Red is now live, and that means details of the movie have hit social media. Turns out Shanks’ exploration in the movie gave us some long-awaited details about the Red-Haired Pirate.although it has not yet been confirmed whether or not it will be within the official canon.

Shanks’ secret daughter Uta’s relationship with Monkey D. Luffy, the captain of the Straw Hat Pirates, may have a real impact on the main canon of the story.
While most of the movie will presumably take place during this time, there have also been several scenes in the trailers showing Luffy and Uta’s childhood. One of the most prominent examples shows young children playing in what appears to be Foosha Village with Shanks’ Red Force in the distance. Fans were more than happy after learning that Luffy and Uta had a past together.. If the movie was going to explore that concept more, that just meant that Shanks’ past would be explored as well, considering that he probably took care of them when they were kids.
The Red-Haired Sea Emperor has long been a mystery within the franchise, so fans were thrilled to learn that they could learn more about this incredible pirate. Some were still disappointed that this information was probably not canon, like most One Piece movies. However, given the Eiichiro Oda’s latest statements, this could change. It is not very common to have a canonical movie in anime and manga, as it limits the number of people within the fandom that could continue with the main story. In fact, there is no tentative date for its release outside of Japan, so there are not many legal and safe means left to closely follow the story of Luffy and company (or, Shanks, in this case).
