One Piece: there will be schedule changes for the holidays!

It’s already the holiday season. Christmas is only a few steps away and so is the end of the year 2022. Although this period rhymes with rejoicing, the manga industry does not take any breaks. However, given the period, some mangaka have seen their schedule slightly adjusted.

This is particularly the case for Eiichiro Oda, the creator of One Piece.

News about Eiichiro Oda’s manga

As you must know, the arc of Wano Kuni came to an end several weeks ago. Now, the Straw Hat crew has hoisted the sails and is already sailing towards a new destination. Their Log Pose leads them this time to Egg Head Science Land.

This futuristic island they have just discovered turns out to be an island under the jurisdiction of the World Government and by extension the laboratory of Dr. Vegapunk. We won’t say more to avoid revealing too much at once.

On the occasion of the end of the year holidays, the release dates of the next chapters of One Piece, have undergone some changes. Regular readers of Eiichiro Oda’s manga may well be a bit disoriented if they are not aware of these new schedules.

The new publication times

For this month of December and January 2023, the release dates of the next four chapters of One Piece will be changed. If you weren’t aware of them yet, here are the new chapter publication dates:

  • Chapter 1069 will be released on Sunday, December 11
  • Chapter 1070 will be released on Sunday, December 25
  • Chapter 1071 will be released on Friday, January 6th
  • Chapter 1072 will be released on Sunday, January 22

These are the dates to remember for the next chapters of One Piece. Now, if you are wondering if the final arc of One Piece will be adapted very soon, it should be noted that nothing has been confirmed yet. Additionally, the current anime adaptation has yet to reach the epilogue of the Wano Kuni arc.

Suffice to say that you still have a lot of battles to see before even thinking about the next arc. It will therefore be necessary to be patient. And if you can’t wait to learn more, just skip reading the manga.
