While the “Great War”, which should mark the end of the famous manga One Piece is getting closer little by little, a potential clue seen in chapter 1056 available in scan says more about her outfit, which could well take place in a particular context.
Waiting for the Great War
Still at work on the manga of his life One Pieceand this for 25 years, the mangaka Eiichiro Oda revealed a few days ago, that he intended to take a well-deserved rest, and to travel all over the world.
Still, his work isn’t done yet, and even though the end of the manga is on the horizon, there are still plenty of drawing boards left, especially the fan-awaited final Great War, which Luffy and the rest of the Straw Hat crew must lead.
short summary of chapter 1056
While Chapter 1057 is scheduled to hit MangaPlus and ShonenJump on August 21st, issue #1056 saw Inuarashi and Nekomamushi appoint Carrot as their new successor from the principality of Mokomo on the island of Zô, before retiring to stay in the land of the Wa and serve the Shogun Momonosuké. The latter, along with Hiyori, reunites with their grandfather Sukiyaki. In this issue, the Straw Hats learn from Robin that the Antique Pluto Weapon is on the Continent. This information reaches the ears of Caribou who spies on them.
A few days later, the crew bid farewell to the inhabitants, except for Kin’emon and Momonosuké. Luffy, Law, and Kid prepare to part ways and go their separate ways with each in possession of a copy of Kaido’s Road Poneglyph. Luffy learns that Buggy the Clown has set up a “Cross Guild” organization in which he enlisted Crocodile and Mihawk., and proceeds to throw bounties on the heads of several Marines. For his part, Yamato is about to join the Straw Hat Crew.
Clues to the Great War
At the heart of this summary, a clue is hidden and can potentially reveal information about the Great War. This is Carrots. Naming her as the chief of the Mink tribe gives some indication of the final war, sincewe imagine that the Minks will participate, and will side with the Straw Hat against the Navy, Carott being his ally. Therefore, and if we know that the Minks can deploy all their forces on the evenings of full moon in their Sulong form, one can then imagine that the Great War will take place, -at least in part- on a full moon night.
But if we look further, we can assume that the final war should also take place at least one month after the current date in the manga. Why ? Because the fight between Kaido and Luffy on the roof of Onigashima is quite recent, and took place during the full moon.
Although Eichiro Oda said in an interview that he was counting finish his work in 3 years, it is impossible to say how long it will take to launch the Final War. As the Wano arc has just ended, we then imagine a gigantic arc which would last three years, and which would represent the final arc. And if we don’t know much today about this last narrative arc, Eiichiro Oda promises”the greatest battle in history“.
