One Piece: What is the method with which the problems of the anime have been solved

One Piece is one of the most popular anime and manga series today, and it is also one of the longest-running, since it has an immensity of episodes, which are surely a challenge for anime fans, recently arrived, but recently a method has been revealed with which they have managed to solve the anime’s problems.

Something that seems quite curious to us is that the series is written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda. Since its first publication in 1997 it has sold more than 320,866,000 copies worldwide (presumably holding the Guinness World Record for the most copies of the same work published).

But, concentrating on what interests us, this long-running series of adventures has left its fans speechless on more than one occasion, especially since One Piece is full of mysteries and secrets that have been revealed as the story arcs go by.

The Wano arc has come to give a better structure to its characters and settings in a very forceful way, contrary to some problems that afflicted the Shonen in the past.

The problems of Eiichiro Oda’s work

Regarding criticism, some of the narrative problems that One Piece has had have already been mentioned. Among them, the temporary inconsistencies, in addition to an excessive time for the development of the actions and a large amount of filler in the episodes, especially in the anime adaptation.

On the eve of chapter 1051, One Piece has been difficult to give continuity and attractive scenes that keep the attention of the audience. In fact, this situation worsened as the years progressed. In this way, the anime was discarded among the fan community, so they chose to keep up with the manga.

Even though things seem to be on the right track for the Shonen series, the problems haven’t entirely gone away. However, the Wano arc, released from the year 2019, brought with it some positive changes for the anime. First of all, One Piece has modified the aesthetics of its characters, and in general, to a more updated version with tints similar to those of Dragon Ball Super: Broly.

With that said, the animation has much more consistency and the quality has increased greatly for very specific events within the series. In other words, One Piece has taken it upon himself to reshape his classic animation to prioritize the events that have changed his universe. The anime has done a great job during the last chapters, although the rhythm of the story still needs to be polished, but it is worth mentioning that the experience is much better than in past arcs.
