2022 will be a big year for anime, and A piece promises to contribute a lot of hype. Not only is a movie set to debut this year, but the Island of Wano saga is nearing its finale. Oh, and it looks like there’s something else knocking on the door to A piece Fans. Toonami brings Luffy back to his schedule, and he will leave as soon as possible.
“We are delighted to announce the triumphant return of A piece at Toonami this Saturday night! We will start at episode 517 and show consecutive episodes this weekend. A New Chapter Begins – The Straw Hat Crew Reunites”, Toonami shared on Facebook.
According to the schedule of the program, A piece returns to television on January 22. The late night block will begin at midnight with Blade Runner : Lotus noir before he goes to Assassination Classroom. At 1:30 a.m. EST, fans can check out A piece, and it will be double functionality. There will be two episodes airing on Saturdays, and A piece will be followed by naruto shippuden.
As you can imagine, the fans are overjoyed A piece back, and it’s not hard to see why. The anime last aired on the block in March 2017. A ton of Toonami series have come and gone since, but fans have been begging for Luffy’s return. Now the captain has his sights set on Adult Swim, and that’s all we care about.
Now, it’s up to the fans to make that comeback count. A piece is a huge series, but in the past, Toonami executives have said its ratings aren’t amazing. If you want the show to stay, be sure to tune in to A piece every Saturday and trend it on Twitter!
