One Piece’s live-action will hardly deviate from the manga/anime, and if it does, it must have the author’s ‘Okay’

The live-action of “one piece“is a project that ‘I think’ that many of us genuinely want to succeed, not out of love for a kind of adaptations that generally only serve to fill the pockets of the enlightened in the USA by twisting ideas to their liking, but to that a legendary franchise like this does not lower its legendary status. It seems that Eiichiro Odathe creator of it, also has this wish in mind, and he’s working hard for it.

One Piece is having a brutal involvement of Eiichiro Oda for its live-action

Then I leave you with the tweet from the hand of NewWorldArturwho has leaked some news that seems VERY relevant to what will be the final product of the live-action of “One Piece”:

Basically, what to extract from this tweet are the following things:

  • Eiichiro Oda’s involvement with the One Piece live-action is being of a higher category. ✔️
  • Apparently, the author is actively reviewing and correcting the scripts of the series, as well as reviewing the general production process. This is something he has been doing for several months now. ✔️
  • Likewise, the live-action of One Piece is expected to be EXTREMELY FAITHFUL to the manga/anime, and it is that any minimal change to the story must first go through Oda-sensei’s filter enough for it to begin to be considered minimally. ❗

I have to say that this clashes a lot with what a member of the production team of the live-action of “One Piece” stated a few weeks ago, emphasizing that they wanted the project to shine for itself and not merely by being a 1:1 representation from the manga/anime. In this sense, the only thing that comes to mind is that everything will be kept in history as we know it, but that in turn it is narrated in a somewhat ‘different’ way. In any case, until the series is actually released, the only thing we can do is speculate with these ‘clues’ that are thrown at us.
