There will be delays to be expected for many anime like One Piece or Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Daï to name a few. The reason ? The animation studio Toeiin charge of many projects at the moment, was the victim of a hack. It was via a press release published on their official website and via the Twitter pages of their various productions that the news was shared:

We confirmed that a third party illegally accessed our network on March 6 this year and suspended part of our internal system. Solutions are being explored, but the release schedule for our anime has been affected.

Four anime including One Piece affected

In detail, four anime are affected. Expected Saturday, episode 73 of Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai will not air. It’s an old episode that will take its place. Same treatment for Delicious Party Precure : the sixth episode was to be released this Sunday but it is the fourth which will finally be rebroadcast. On the other hand, it’s a bit fuzzier regarding One Piece and Digimon Ghost Game. It is not known if the two anime will have a normal broadcast this Sunday (episode 1014 for the first, 22 for the second). In any case, the schedule put in place by Toei and turned upside down ‘and we will have to wait until March 20 to have news on the future distribution of the anime concerned”’.
