“The series won’t end anytime soon”, the new message that Oda has just conveyed to fans!

Eiichiro Oda shared a new message at Jump Festa 2023. He is happy that “after 25 years of writing, new young readers are starting ONE PIECE and becoming fans.”

Oda asserts that “despite the ongoing final arc, there are no plans to conclude the series anytime soon, so relax”.

MESSAGE FROM EIICHIRO ODA – JUMP FESTA 2023

Hello everyone who attended Jump Festa and everyone watching the show at home, it’s Eiichiro Oda, the world’s biggest diva, or something like that.

This year, the Wano arc ended, the main story started picking up, the One Piece: Film Red movie became a big hit, so it was a really crazy year overall.

All the staff are always screaming with happiness. Uta-chan will also appear in the Red and White Song Battle!

We hope you enjoy his TV tower since it will only be available for a limited time. The card game was also a big hit. I asked my staff the other day if we could get maps but they said we couldn’t get any. Can you believe it?

It’s been 25 years since the series started, and it’s such a long story, but I’m also very happy that recently more and more young readers are picking up this work. I was very excited when the final arc of the series started, and I encouraged people to get interested in it, but I don’t plan on wrapping up the series anytime soon, so you can relax and read it in peace. Next year, the video game we’ve been working on for 6 years, One Piece Odyssey, will be released!

We are also preparing various stage events! And the Hollywood live-action is also in production! We are currently studying the first drafts of Season 1. There was a lot of work behind the scenes, but I was the most worried during the process… But it’s really great!

And next year, in the original manga series, a clash between “that person” and “that person” will take place!

This is where the story is heading! If I had to give it a name, it would be like a big battle royale! I hope no one dies! Please look forward to One Piece next year!!
