The new images showing the set of Netflix’s live-action One Piece were taken by the Twitter user @Risebito and published by the fan account @OP_Netflix_Fan. According to the description, the images were taken at the Cape Town Film Studios in South Africa, where the new adaptation of Eiichiro Oda’s work is being filmed. Although the images were taken from a distance, we can appreciate some characteristic elements of the series such as some masts and sailboats under construction.

The live-action of One Piece is getting closer than you imagine
The live-action One Piece produced by Netflix was first announced in 2017. The series is being produced by Netflix and Tomorrow Studios, the production company behind the recent live-action adaptation of Cowboy Bebop., the latter has raised some suspicions about the quality of the series (after it was canceled after a single season). The series will star Go’s lead actor, Youth! and Who Killed Sara ?, Iñaki Godoy will take the place of Monkey D. Luffy, the captain of The Straw Hat Pirates.
