This Is What Luffy Or Zoro Will Look Like When They’re Old In One Piece – Furansu Japan

One Piece is a manga monumental which brings together hundreds of different characters. They each have their own story and temperament, so many readers and viewers may have a distinct ranking of their favorite heroes. However, the protagonists remain those of the Straw Hat crew, the Mugiwara. The author of One Piece, Eiichiro Oda, published an official drawing illustrating the future of our popular friends. This is the opportunity or never to discover the face of Luffy, Zoro or Sanji with 20 to 40 years older.

For the sake of cohesion, this article is divided into several parts. First, we are going to go back to the official drawings of Oda, which reveal the faces of the heroes of One Piece at 40 and 60 years old. There is therefore a strong temporal ellipsis and there are many similarities with older characters that currently exist in the work. For example, Luffy is very close to Garp or Shanks depending on the age that is retained. In a second part, we will come back to unofficial but equally interesting drawings (fanarts). This is certainly not the author’s vision, but it can give everyone ideas to imagine the future of the main members of the crew.

We also remind you that there is very little probability that an official sequel to One Piece will see the light of day in the coming years. Eiichiro Oda is far too busy completing his monumental work. After more than 20 years of service, it is high time for him to take some well-deserved breaks and move on. Like a Masashi Kishimoto (naruto), he could step back from his job, either to think about a new story, or to take the time to rest. Thus, there will never be a One Piece Shippuden or Akkipuden as it may have struggled for Naruto. So it’s hard to imagine a new adventure story with a very old Luffy!
