Yu-Gi-Oh in One Piece version
For many, it was probably just a dream, unrealizable. A collaboration between Konami’s famous card game and the world’s most popular manga, One Piece. If this association will not really see the light of day, Toei Animation and Shūeisha, the publishing house of One Piece were inspired by the work of Kazuki Takahashi.
The first visuals and boosters have already been unveiled. We can thus find Kaido, Luffy, Kid or even Yamato who met one of the anime’s most beloved characters during episode 1013. All of these powerful protagonists and antagonists will be available in starter decks. A new way to consume One Piece, with illustrations only from the manga, not the anime.
Release date revealed?
Inevitably, from now on, the fans expect only one thing, to be able to play this card game which is likely to be all the rage. The Japanese company Bandai which will take care of the design of the cards, announced, in a teaser, that the game would be available from summer 2022, in Japan.
