We believe that two of these three swords are not exactly what we believe, and that before the end of the series, it could replace one.
First let’s talk about Zoro’s Asura form, he’s used it three times so far in the series, once against a Pacifista, once against Kaido and once against Kaku, how is this form made possible? Since the mythical DFs in this series are canonical, we could imagine that there is a Model: Asura somewhere, but why can Zoro use these skills?
If there’s anything we learned from One Piece it’s that it’s all done on purpose, when we first started seeing the Red Hawk we didn’t realize until later why Luffy could use fire. This is why we believe that Sandai Kitetsu or Wado Ichimonji may have been fused with this mythical Zoan fruit. We’d rather lean towards the Wado Ichimonji as both this and Enma were forged by Shimotsuki Kozaburo, which brings me to the next point.
After Zoro’s recent fight against King, we saw another oddity, the Grim Reaper himself. At first we took it for granted, but then we thought a little more about Enma, a sword with a mind of its own, which sucks the user’s life force.
What if the Shimotsuki clan had found a way to forge weapons using devil fruits, and that Zoro had ended up with two of them and was able to wake them up? What does it say about Sandai Kitetsu? Another cursed sword with a mind of its own? Will Zoro replace her because she’s cursed? Or maybe he’ll awaken a third demon lurking in the blade?
We don’t know, but the idea of Zoro, the “King of the Underworld”, being able to carry three demons on his hip sounds pretty exciting to me.
