The infinite loop (by Marina)
Summer Time Render premiered last season, standing out thanks to the mystery and a supernatural component among so many romantic comedies, such as Kaguya-sama: Love is War either Komi can’t communicate. That said, is it worth watching?

In the first few minutes, Summer Time Render It gives the feeling of being a slice of life anime with a certain comic cut. However, as the minutes tick by, the viewer is drawn into a surprisingly engaging narrative unlike anything they have ever seen before. Thanks to this, the first half of the anime feels like a breath of fresh air.
In Summer Time Render we are presented with an endless loop in which the protagonist, Shinpei, is forced to take part, because only he has the power to activate them to save, not only the people he loves, but the entire island of Hitogashima. These loops, which although they force the viewer to keep their attention at all times so as not to lose thread, are the strongest point of the series, since without them the narrative would not be effective. And, as the viewer is immersed in the story, he will discover a show full of unexpected twists, regret, sorrow, longing and sadness, spiced with surprising doses of violence and death.

Regarding the technical section, the animation is more than remarkable, with great fluidity, and without needing many frills. It hooks the viewer from start to finish with beautiful settings, good character design and, most importantly, beautiful eyes, where light and brightness are played to convey emotions. On the other hand, one of the cornerstones of the mystery genre is music and, fortunately, Summer Time Render It exceeds expectations with a chilling, engaging and eerily calm score, amplifying the viewing experience to an impressive degree.
Definitely, Summer Time Render It is an interesting and surprising anime, combining genres and having dramatic changes in tone, which are difficult to understand if one does not pay enough attention. Although I think that in the middle of the broadcast it lost a certain hook when the story remained somewhat pigeonholed at the same point, the series picks up the pace in its last stretch and promises strong emotions.

Shadow of the Unknown (by Corj)
Summer Time Render It is not the first series, nor will it be the last, that plays with time loops. You know, that thing about a character reliving a part of her life over and over again and trying to fix things based on trial and error. Then it is Summer Time Render more of the same? Well honestly no. This manga adaptation created by yasuki tanaka It offers a series of details that keep it fresh and surprise us week after week.

The series uses mystery as its best asset while building a story that kicks off with the death of Ushio Kofune in what a priori do not seem strange circumstances. From there, Shinpeithe main protagonist, gradually puts together the pieces related to the accident of his adoptive sister, finding himself with a dark secret in which the supernatural plays a very important role and making us, the spectators, not stop surprising ourselves with each turn that events take.
Details are very important in Summer Time Render. The slightest of them can serve to discover some new information or to get an idea of the intentions of one of the characters. Because, like everything that happens in the series, both the protagonists and the secondary ones are also surrounded by mystery.

Regarding the technical plan, the study OLM He has done a great job in all aspects. The animation more than complies at all times, both in the quieter scenes and in action situations. Also, the drawing looks very nice and detailed, presenting great landscapes and perfectly setting the town. Much of the credit also lies in the stupendous use of light that is made. And to put the icing on the cake, the soundtrack is also at a high level and manages to convey all kinds of emotions to the viewer.
So that, Summer Time Render It is one of the essential series so far this year. Its mixture of temporary loops with the supernatural tone means that the result ends up captivating from the first moment. Now we just have to wait for the outcome of this great anime whose manga we can enjoy in Spain from the hand of Milky Way Editions.

Essay and summer terror (by Cooperlynch)
The concept of trial and error, of “die and repeat” is always interesting and juicy. All a malleable literary toy that allows many narrative possibilities, and that in good hands can lead to really interesting works. The manga has not been oblivious to this, as has been demonstrated with works such as All you need is kill. Now that summer is coming to an end very soon, the end of the animated adaptation of Summer Time Rendera rather dark, disturbing and refreshing summer story.

From the first moment the intrigue and the mystery hit us in the face. A strange buzz and distortion, voices, a mysterious death and a seemingly quiet and unsettling town, with more than one mystery adorned by the summer sound of cicadas. Summer Time Render It hits you from the first moment due to its crudeness, and to the mysterious, detective and somewhat mystical plotas will be seen little by little, that trial and error that I was talking about at the beginning are joined, almost always translated in the form of showy deaths (and yes, the protagonists are not spared either).
Something that cleverly poses Summer Time Render is that the “repetitions” or rather, the ability of the protagonist to go back in time is being reduced, in the sense that every time he dies, the reset jumps, taking place at a closer moment in time at the time of death, so there is less and less room for error while the mysteries surrounding the island and its characters are revealed. This is generating more and more concern that suits the tone of the series very well. This concept is also perfectly used in a current work such as tokyo avengersalbeit with a slight variation.

The technical section more than complies. The character design is cute and colorful, perfectly carrying over the original tone of the manga. Likewise, the animation is very fluid, especially in the confrontations, to finish off with some very attractive and careful scenarios and lighting. To this is added a very disturbing soundtrack that rounds off the whole,
Summer Time Render It is without a doubt one of the best series of the season. A disturbing summer story that will keep you glued to your chair and whose climax I am looking forward to.
