Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is coming to theaters around the world

The original Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba manga, the work of Koyoharu Gotoge, was collected into 23 volumes under Shueisha’s JUMP COMICS imprint and has sold more than 150 million copies. Its anime adaptation was produced by ufotable and its first season premiered in April 2019. In October 2020, the film covering the Infinity Train Arc opened in Japanese theaters and broke all box office records. The anime’s second season, which adapted the Infinity Train Arc and the Red Light District Arc, premiered in 2021 and concluded in February 2022.

A key element, for which the decision obviously arises, is that Kimetsu no Yaiba was the most watched franchise on streaming in Japan, while in second place was positioned Jujutsu Kaisen and in third place is Tokyo Revengers.
