Kengan Ashura will have a second season

Netflix ha confirmed through the official count of anime on Twitter, that the series kengan ashura will have a second seasonfinding this already in production. At the moment, no further details have been released. The first part has a total of 24 episodes divided into 2 parts that premiered in July and October 2019, respectively. This first season is available in full in the aforementioned platform.

Regarding the first season of this martial arts anime, it featured the production of LarxEntertainment and the address of seiji kishiknown for series like Assassination Classroom, person 4 and Yuki Yuna Is a Hero. The rest of the technical team is made up of Makoto Uezu (Akame ga Kill!, The heroic legend of Arslan) as a screenwriter; Kazuaki Morita (Tsuki ga Kirei, Assassination Classroom) as character designer and Yasuharu Takanashi from Team-MAX (Fairy Tail, Naruto Shippuden) as a musical composer.

The original eponymous manga, written by Yabako Sandrovich and illustrated by Daraomeonbegan to be published in 2012 through the app Sleeve Oneowned by the publisher Shogakukan. The work ended on August 9, 2018 with a total of 26 compiled volumes plus one bonus. However, the series began a new story arc in the same application on January 17, 2019 under the title of Kengan Omega which currently has 12 volumes.

Editorial Ivrea recently started publishing the manga of kengan ashura in Spain. The first volume went on the market last March 17 in a paperback edition softcover with dust jacket B6 format and a price of €8.50.

Companies and merchants stake large sums of money to hire fighters for hand-to-hand, unarmed combat. The winner takes all in these Kengan competitions that originated during the Edo period. Fighting is used by merchants as a means of settling disputes among themselves.
