The editorial Shueisha published the cover art and release date of the twenty-fourth compiled volume of the manga written and illustrated by Aka Akasaka, Kaguya-sama: Love is War (Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen). This volume is scheduled for release on December 17 in Japan, while Miko Iino stars on the cover.
On the other hand, Akasaka began publishing the manga in the magazine Miracle Jump from the publisher Shueisha in May 2015, and moved it to the magazine Weekly Young Jump in 2016. The publisher published the twenty-second compilation volume in May 2021, followed by the twenty-third on August 18 in Japan.
In addition to several spin-off manga, the play also inspired a twelve-episode animated adaptation produced by the studios. A-1 Pictures, under the direction of Shinichi Omata and scripts written by Yasuhiro Nakanishi, released in January 2019. A second season of twelve episodes premiered in April 2020, and a third season is confirmed for the month of April 2022.
