New sneak peek of Kawaii Dake Ja Nai Shikimori-san anime
The Web page for manga adaptation Kawaii dake ja nai Shikimori-san (Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie) by Keigo Maki was updated with a second preview. In this new trailer we can hear for the first time the main songs of this adaptation. ☆ will perform the opening song titled “Honey Jet Coaster”, while Yuki Nakashima will perform the ending song titled “Route BLUE”. This romantic comedy will premiere on the Japanese small screen next april 2.
Ryouta Itoh (Senpai ga Urusai Kouhai no Hanashi) directs this series of Kawaii dake ja nai Shikimori-san for the study Doga Kobo (Asteroid in Love, New Game!, Osananajimi ga Zettai ni Makenai Love Come) beside Shohei Yamanaka (erased). For its part, Yoshimi Narita (Senpai ga Urusai Kouhai no Hanashi, Itsu Datte Bokura no Koi wa 10 Centi Datta) writes and supervises the scripts while Ai Kikuchi (Dumbbell Nan-Kilo Moteru?) designs the characters for this anime.

Keigo Maki began the publication of this romantic comedy titled Kawaii dake ja nai Shikimori-san in February 2019 and since then it has been published through the manga service Magazine Pocket from the Japanese publisher Kodansha. To date, the work has 11 compilation volumes.
Shikimori seems like the perfect girlfriend: cute, funny, sweet when she wants to be…but she has a dark, cool side that comes out under the right circumstances. And her boyfriend Izumi loves being around her when that happens!
