New trailer for the Orbital Children anime

The place web official of The Orbital Children, the new original anime of Mitsuo Iso, was updated with the full trailer of the same. The promotional video reveals the casting principal in addition to including a preview of the theme song of the play, song titled «Oarana» and performed by the virtual rapper Harusaruhi. The news has also been accompanied by a new promotional image drawn by animator Kenichi Yoshida (Dennō Coil).

This series is divided into Two parts to be screened in Japanese theaters next January 28 and the February 11th respectively. At the same time, the series will go on sale in Blu-ray Y DVD in the Japanese market. After passing through the big screen, Netflix will premiere the project worldwide on January 28, 2022 in a format of miniseries from 6 episodes.

For its animation a new studio was created, Production +h, in collaboration with Avex Pictures Y ASMIK Ace. As for the work team behind this new project, Iso is the director and scriptwriter of it. On the other hand, Kenichi Yoshida (Eureka Seven) is credited for character design. Toshiyuki Inoue is the main entertainer, along with Rei Ishizuka as composer of the soundtrack.

According to Netflix, the story begins in the year 2045. Artificial Intelligence has advanced so far that space travel is already possible, and many people live on the moon. One day, a group of children who live on the moon and others who live on earth decide to travel to a Japanese space station, Anshin, to meet up. But what they don’t know is that their future is decided by the “Seventh Poem.”
