Tatsuhisa Suzuki is retired from the Tokyo Revengers series as the voice of Draken – Kudasai

On the official site for the anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Ken Wakui, Tokyo Revengers, it was announced that the voice actor Tatsuhisa Suzuki has been removed from the cast of voices such as the voice of Anos Voldigoad, the protagonist of the play. The statement wrote:

We want to announce that Tatsuhisa Suzuki, who until now played the role of Ken Ryuguji (Draken), will be replaced after a series of talks between the production committee and the voice actor’s office. The cast and staff are already working together to produce the new season of the anime.

It should be remembered that a few days ago the production of a new season for the series was confirmed, which will cover the events of “Seiya Kessen-hen (Christmas Showdown Arc)”.

In recent weeks, the actor Tatsuhisa Suzuki has had to withdraw from numerous projects as of scandal of infidelity in which he was involved last July. The actor’s most recent and notorious cancellation was his retirement from anime Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha like the voice of Anos Voldigoad. However, the Yahoo News Japan site announced that Suzuki you are already rebuilding your married life next to his wife, the singer LiSA. Furthermore, the actor plans to return very soon to get involved in new projects.

The first season of Tokyo Revengers premiered in Japan during the Spring-2021 season (April-June) and featured a total of twenty-four episodes, while Crunchyroll took care of its distribution in the West. For his part, Wakui began publishing the manga in the magazine Weekly Shonen Magazine from the publisher Kodansha in March 2017. The work already has more than 40 million copies in accumulated circulation.

Tokyo Revengers Synopsis

Takemichi Hanagaki’s second year of high school was the highest point of his life. He had respect, a gang of friends he could count on, and even a girlfriend. But that was twelve years ago. Today he is a nobody: a rickety nullity that children make fun of and that is always forced to apologize to his younger boss. Sudden news about the cruel murder by the Tokyo Manji Gang of the only girlfriend he had with his brother only adds insult to injury. Half a second before a train ends his sorry life forever, Takemichi returns to that same day twelve years ago, when he was still dating Hinata Tachibana.

After being forced to relive the same day his downward spiral began, Takemichi meets Hinata’s little brother. Without thinking, he admits his apparent death before turning to the past. Takemichi urges him to protect his sister before inexplicably returning to the future. Miraculously, he is not dead. Stranger still, the future has changed. It seems that Takemichi can alter the flow of time. Faced with the opportunity to avoid the tragic death of his ex-girlfriend at the hands of the Tokyo Manji Gang, Takemichi decides to fly through time to change the course of the future.
