The Appare-Ranman manga ends! in january
In the edition from January 2022 from japanese magazine Young Ace revealed on Friday December 3 than the manga Appare-Ranman! will finish in the next issue of the magazine Kadokawa, which will be published on January 4, 2022. It was also announced that the second Y third volume series will go on sale in Japan next December 28th.
This work is an illustrated adaptation by Ahndongshik based on the studio’s original animated series P.A. Works. Ahndongshik began publishing the manga on April 3, 2020 and so far it only has 1 tomthe published one.
P.A. Works commissioned Masakazu Hashimoto (Tari Tari, movies about Crayon Shin-chan) the animated project management of Takeshi Kikuchi Y Daijō Kudō who are given the conceptual idea corresponding to APPERRACING.
Hasimoto was also in charge of supervising the scripts and is also credited as one of those responsible for the original story. Yurie Oohigashi is the one who was in charge of the anime character designs, based on the designs of Ahndongshik (Dongshik Ahn, Gagoze), as well as the person in charge of the animation direction. Mechanical designs correspond to Shiho Takeuchi.
The first two episodes of the anime aired in advance on March 21st 2020 through the digital platform dAnime Store, on March 27 in Ameba TV, on March 30 in AT-X and on April 4 in only one. From April 10th the rest of the episodes were premiered regularly and in total it has 13 episodes.
Thanks to Select Vision, the anime came to our country through its simulcast in April 2020. The distributor announced through a direct on Twitch, that the series will arrive in Blu-ray and DVD format throughout the year 2022.
After a certain setback, the brilliant but socially inept engineer Apare Sorano and the cunning but cowardly samurai Kosame Isshiki find themselves adrift on a ship going from Japan to the United States. The two then decide to compete in the Trans-America Wild Race to win the award and return to Japan. The two will have to fight off eccentric rivals and outlaws as they race through the Wild West from the starting line in Los Angeles to the finish line in New York in a steam car they built themselves.
