All those fans of spokon best seller Prince of Tennis are in luck, and now they can enjoy the original anime in Crunchyroll. platform streaming has made part of the chapters of the original anime available to users, specifically, from 51 to 128in the original version subtitled into Latin Spanish. The Prince of Tennis has various adaptations animated for television, broadcast between 2001 and 2005, as well as two anime films and a short, different OVAs, a live-action film, a live-action for television in China and a live musical show. Recently, it was released through the video on demand service U-NEXT the two OVA’s of Shin Tennis no Ouji-sama: Hyoutei vs Rikkai – Game of Future. The original work is a manga spokon created by Takeshi Konomi and published in the magazine Weekly Shonen Jump from Shueisha between 1999 and 2008, being collected in 42 compilation volumes. Subsequently, the author began to serialize The New Prince of Tennis in the magazine Jump Squarefrom Shueishain 2009. The story takes place months after the national tennis tournament with which the manga ends The Prince of Tennis.

The Prince of Tennis came to Spain by the hand of Glenat Editions, although the last volumes barely sold 400 units. In addition, Luke International owns the rights of original animated series for its broadcast, although no Spanish television channel seemed interested in its acquisition. Instead, the OVAs of The New Prince of Tennis are available in the original version with Spanish subtitles through Crunchyroll.
