Anime season 1 Tokyo Revengers ended with its episode 24 on September 19, 2021. Despite an excellent reception of the anime and exceptional figures for the sales of the manga, as of now a season 2 with an episode 25 has not yet been announced.

In 2017, Takemichi Hanagaki, a 26-year-old freeter with a gloomy life, learned that his college ex-girlfriend, Tachibana Hinata, had died in a conflict involving her younger brother, Naoto, and the gang.
