Mikey expresses that he longs to grow up and be even better than his older brother. Also, Shinichiro visits the graves of his father and swears to take care of Emma, Mikey and his grandfather. He starts working in his workshop as a sports bike mechanic. However, he suddenly receives a panicked call from his grandfather.
The news he receives is more shocking than ever. She rushes to the hospital to see Mikey barely holding on for dear life from him in the ICU. She later finds out that Mikey had a terrible fall down the stairs while playing with Sanzu and others. They reveal that Mikey refused to let them play with his “precious” plane that he had received from Shinichiro as a gift before the crash.
This added a huge bag of guilt to Shinichiro’s heart as he began to blame himself for gifting this plane to Mikey. As for Mikey’s condition, the doctor informs them that he is in a vegetative state.
The next panels show Shinichiro pushing Mikey’s wheelchair through the garden. However, he was four years, and Mikey still showed no signs of improvement. The chapter ends by stating that it is the original and most harrowing timeline.

The final chapter shifted the focus from Mikey’s past to what happened to Shinichiro. Wakui seems to be focused on revealing how this whole time jump started. Therefore, we will soon have the answer as to who pushed Takemichi onto the train tracks. Also, we can finally get an answer about the origin of the time jump ability.
For now, we will read the original timeline. The way Mikey was vegetative for four years, maybe he was never meant to be a criminal. It is very likely that Shinichiro will use his time jump ability to prevent this disaster. However, since any change in the timeline creates a butterfly effect, it’s no wonder Mikey continues to come to a tragic end in every one of them.
If it’s not him, then another character destined to live ends up having a tragic end. But another thing to keep in mind is that Hinata always dies in all timelines, regardless of changes in timelines.
