Tokyo Revengers is back in January on Crunchyroll.
tokyo revenge has not finished making us vibrate. While the hit manga begins its final arc, the animated series continues, still under the direction of Liden Films. After the broadcast of a first season in 2021, the sequel should arrive in January 2023, not only in Japan but also in France via the Crunchyroll broadcasting platform.

Only a few more months to wait, therefore, before discovering the continuation of the temporal adventures of Takemichi Hanagaki. In the meantime, it is on YouTube that the series has unveiled a first trailer for the arc Christmas Showdown. We discover in particular two of the new characters who will make their arrival in the cast of the next season: Taiju Shiba, ultra-violent member of the Black Dragons (who will be voiced by Tomokazu Sugita in the original version), and his little sister Yuzuha Shiba (voiced by Mikako Komatsu). With the siblings now complete, the arc should further explore the plot surrounding Hakkai’s big brother.
In addition to this first trailer, a visual and the synopsis of this new arc have also been unveiled. The first three episodes of season 2 (episodes 25 to 27) will premiere in Japan on December 24, in the presence of the main voice actors, during the event Jump Festa.
Pre-published in 2017 in Kodansh’s Weekly Shonen, tokyo revenge has had a resounding arrival in France since 2019 at Glénat editions. The first anime season is still available on Crunchyroll, so there’s not long to wait for the second salvo, which will feature the Christmas Showdownand the bloody clash between Mikey’s gang and the Black Dragons.
After the cliffhanger of the last season, the wait is long for the fans. Remember, however, that this new arc will come with a cast change, as Ken Ryuguji’s original voice actor Suzuki Tatsuhi was eventually replaced by Masaya Fukunishi after some scandals involving the voice actor.
